Breaking Ground

In my line of work,  I have to know everything that goes on in my area. Being a real estate agent means I have to know all about the different neighborhoods, schools, and recreational activities to share with potential clients.   With this blog, I intend to share some good – to – know information about what’s going on in the Victorville area and its surrounding communities.  Breaking ground on a new blog is not always easy, so if you have any suggestions for topics,  just drop me a line in the comments below!

 Speaking of Breaking Ground…

Noted by the Daily press on September 19, 2007 by a staff writer. The Lewis Retail center will be breaking ground on the High Desert Gateway center on September 27, 2007, and the city leaders believe the shopping center will usher in a wave of development along interstate 15 corridor. The 361,000 square foot retail center  off hwy 15 and Main Street will be anchored by 180,000 square-foot Super Target, which will be built during the first phase of the project.

A second phase will include 27,330 square feet of retail space on the southern three acres of the triangular parcel.

Ed Pack, city councilman believes that The High Desert Gateway center is the beginning of billions of dollars in retail sales and other development coming to the freeway corridor.
